Purge the current and send its charge to your gauntlets for increased melee damage.

Activating this Power takes a supplemental action and provides a character with Armor 1 against all attacks. This stacks with any Armor the character may already have and Weapon Penetration works the same against it as normal armor. It will also remain in place until purged or deactivated even if its armor is exceeded by an attack.

It does not stack with Tech Armor or Barrier.

The Fortification can be purged and send its charge to the character’s gauntlets for a hand to hand attack. The attacker rolls his Fists skill against the defender’s Athletics for a Damage: 2 attack. This action drops the Tech Armor for that full Exchange.

The Recharge of Biotics, Combat Mastery and Tech Talents is increased by +3 as long as Fortification is active.

IMPROVEMENTS (-1 ADVANCE APIECE)

  • INCREASED DAMAGE
    The Damage from the Purge can be increased by 2 for Damage: 4.
  • INCREASED DURABILITY
    Increase the Armor of the character by 1 for a maximum of 2.
  • COOLDOWN
    Reduce Recharge to 1 when the Armor is activated or detonated.
  • RECHARGE REDUCED
    The Recharge Penalty to Biotics, Combat Mastery and Tech Talents is reduced to +1 instead of +3.
